So this is xmas...

I'm really not a fan of the holiday season, less so than ever this year.

That said, I was trying to post a nifty reply to theinated about nerdism and popularity and so forth, with a link to a very, very cool set of essays I ran across on the subject - but then thought, "Why not foist these on everyone?"

So... I could do a number of things for the holiday, today - thankfully, I have to work this afternoon. Other than that, I could spend some time in self reflection, considering how this year went and...

Maybe I'll go over to my mother's house, see about cheering her up.
